Overview of The Grand Canyon
As one of the worlds greatest attractions, The Grand Canyon needs little introduction.
The jaw dropping scenery is what springs to mind when you think about the Grand Canyon but there is plenty to do for the activity conscious. Everything from white water rafting, to helicopter and airplane rides. You can even get down to earth and enjoy the hiking trails or even take a mule ride.
We will not attempt to reinvent the wheel by doing a comprehensive overview of this world famous attraction so we recommend that you visit the official Grand Canyon web site to find out more.
Native American sites
With it’s proximity to the giant Navaho reservation together with many smaller reservations including Hopi, Zuni, Hualapai, Havasupai and Paiute, it is no surprise that there are plenty of Native American interest in the area.
There is a decent write up of the area’s Native American history here…
