BA direct flights to Charleston

BA direct flight to Charleston

From April this year, BA are starting a direct flight from Heathrow to Charleston, South Carolina.  Flights will run twice weekly from April 4th through October 24th.

This is great news for golfers looking to make the USA their next golfing destination and it now means all of our featured destinations are within a 2 hour drive of a direct flight from the UK.

Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Charleston, Kiawah and Hilton Head Island are all within reach by car from Charleston International Airport. You can still fly one stop into Myrtle Beach, Savannah or Hilton Head instead but at least the direct flight option is available, especially for this living in the South East within easy reach of Heathrow.

Heading out for some South Carolina Golf

It is getting close to that time of year where we head off to to our US base in Pawleys Island for some South Carolina golf.

after a miserable spring in the UK we are looking forward to some warm weather and great golf. We enjoy membership at two of the very best courses in South Carolina. True Blue Golf Plantation and Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. Both outstanding layouts, but very different in look and feel, despite both being designed by the late Mike Stranz.
